Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Meet your guide and start off early from Entebbe/Kampala for your Mountain Gorilla trekking adventure (arrive to Entebbe early in the morning or add an extra night to arrive the day before). Be prepared for a long day in the car. Along the way you will make a stop by the equator for some photos and have lunch en route. Continue on to enter the impenetrable forest from the Eastern side via the Kigezi rolling hills through the neck of the forest until we arrive at the lodge for late check in. Overnight in Gorilla mist camp.

Day 2:  Up Close Mountain Gorilla Encounter -  Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the gorillas.

Today, trek through the park’s dense vegetation, traveling up and down its steep slopes in search of the resident mountain gorillas. Your guides use their experience, knowledge of the gorillas’ habits and information from the previous day to locate them. Once the gorillas are spotted, observe their subtle social interactions, remarkable behaviors closely resembling our own. You’ll be allowed a maximum of one hour.

After the gorilla trek your guide picks you and depending on the time you are back from trekking you get started on the trip back to Kampala cutting the time of the journey for tomorrow. The aim is to spend the night in the middle of Africa’s second deepest lake – Lake Bunyonyi commonly known as “The Switzerland Of Africa” due to her endles stunning beauty.Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast you set off towards Kampala. Have lunch along the way. Get back to Kampala/Entebbe in the late afternoon/evening. If flying out this day plan for a late evening departure.
