Our experience with African Finfoot Safaris was one of the best we have experienced in our long life as travelers.It was a 5-day private tour for two people: my wife and I. The highlights of the trip were the gorilla treks in Bwindi and the chimpanzees in Kibale, but every single moment of our trip was special.Organizing and planning our trip with Edrisa, the owner of the agency, was simple and pleasant. Edrisa is very experienced, helpful, honest, clear and... kind, really much! Trust him, every suggestion or advice he gives is just... gold. We have had other experiences in the past with local agencies, but the one with African Finfoot Safaris was absolutely the best.We were lucky enough to have Obed as our guide for all 5 days: she is a very knowledgeable, patient, experienced, flexible and again... kind ex-ranger! We can truly say that we were lucky to meet a new precious friend in this short, intense and unforgettable week.

Wonderful breathtaking unforgettable trip around my favorite african country Uganda. Spectacular and Memorable Safari with African Finfoot SafarisThis was my second trip with African Finfoot Safaris in Uganda, and once again, it was just spectacular, memorable, and unforgettable. We (two friends and I) embarked on a ten-day tour around Uganda, experiencing all the magical activities like chimp and gorilla trekking, game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and relaxing on Sese Island.Charles and Edrisa did an amazing job making the trip absolutely breathtaking. The tour planning was handled by Edrisa, who is incredibly organized and professional. Every extra wish we had was seamlessly included in the tour. They truly made everything possible.From the moment Edrisa and Charles picked us up at the airport, we could just relax and enjoy Uganda, which is, to be honest, my favorite African country. For my two friends, it was their first trip to the African continent, and after returning, they now understand why I am so fascinated by the country.Throughout the tour, everything was well-organized and worked out perfectly. Charles was a very attentive and safe tour guide and driver, ensuring we felt secure at all times. The car was in perfect condition, and all the accommodations we stayed in were just wonderful.African Finfoot Safaris collaborates with various community accommodations, ensuring that part of the money goes back to support the local community. During our game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, we were incredibly lucky to spot a mother leopard with her two cubs playing and relaxing by the road. We also saw elephants crossing our path and, thanks to our guides, we were the only people in the park to spot the tree-climbing lions in Ishasha.During the sometimes long drives, we had great conversations, which helped us become friends. I would highly recommend African Finfoot Safaris for a safe, perfectly organized, and wonderful trip with amazing people in a beautiful country. I will definitely go again next year.

Fantastic and remarkable combination trip to Uganda and Tanzania We had a fantastic and remarkable combination trip to Uganda and Tanzania where we experienced memorable and marvelous moments with a team of one of the best guides led by Edrisa, Charles and Emmanuel .We went to Bwindi and Kibale national parks where we had extreme fun with gorillas and chimpanzees. Uganda is a very beautiful and adventurous country. For Tanzania, we went to Serengeti big 5 and wildebeests, we also enjoyed hot air ballon, cultural interaction with the masai people. The accommodations in both countries we comfortable, luxurious, affordable and captivating with a view of nature. The food was the best we have ever had,,, soooo delicious.... If you are planning a safari to Uganda or Tanzania, we recommend African Finfoot Safaris for an amazing and affordable experience.

A great 10 day memorable Western Uganda Safari Thank you to our tour guides Edrisa and Wellen. We had a 10 day western Uganda non stop Safari and it was such a memorable one. We did the gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking,the national parks,Sempaya hotsprings,the breathtaking Murchison falls,had spectacular views of most of the crater lakes and concluded it all with the Rhinos at ZZiwa Sanctuary. The planning was curated to fit our needs and everywhere we stayed and visited was perfect. Thank you.

Choose African Finfoot for your once-in-a-lifetime trip Traveling solo through Africa can be intimidating, but African Finfoot Safaris made it easy. In fact, my trepidation seems silly in hindsight. The experience was nothing but great from the beginning. Charles greeted me in Kigali with warmth and a much needed smile after a night of airport hopping alone. I was initially hesitant to visit the genocide museum and memorial given the subject matter and my desire for an escapist sort of vacation, but trusted African Finfoot Safari’s judgment as I assumed that a tour company wouldn’t take tourists to an undesirable location. I’m glad I followed their recommended itinerary. It was moving and I feel that anyone with the ability to visit should do so. The gorilla trek in Bwindi is just as amazing as one would imagine. Another relief came when I learned that the hike doesn’t come with the difficulty level that comes to mind with the US-definition of “trek.” Plus, Charles had my back and knew I didn’t want to hike all day, so got me into the mid-level hiking group. Be sure to bring $20 USD to hire a porter. You will thank me for this piece of advice if you plan on taking a backpack containing a camera, lunch, water, and mosquito repellent. Not only that, but you’re supporting local people doing the work to protect a unique ecosystem on behalf of all of us given there’s no where else like it on earth. Often times, it’s the unexpected that surprises and delights. This was the case during my visit to meet the Pygmy people. I appreciate the way they kindly and enthusiastically welcomed me. They shared their culture and traditions, even though I’m guessing they end up performing for many tourists. Consider bringing some Ugandan Schillings to purchase their hand-made crafts rather than buying from someone else. It’s expensive flying halfway around the world. Sending what can feel like a large sum of money to people that you don’t know that are several continents away can be scary. If you choose to do it, definitely consider African Finfoot. They’re a legitimate company consisting of amiable people. It felt like they had my best interest in mind during my entire trip. And, definitely request Charles. He’s a good guy with a great sense of humor with the hidden talent of being great with a camera phone. One last piece of advice… the particular lodge where I stayed did not have internet or cell service. The tour company gave me a heads-up but I chose that lodge anyway. It was beautifully situated on the edge of Bwindi Forest (probably closer than any other lodge) and I was able to see wildlife every evening as a result. There were times when I was grateful to be off the grid, but it felt inconvenient other times. Listen to the tour company if they share this tidbit with you.

Epic adventure! We had a 5 day epic trip to Kibale National park and Queen Elizabeth( Q.E) with the amazing, reliable and hospitable team led by Edrisa. Our trip was well organised and reasonably priced with best accomodation and meals. The long drive in the QE National park and wildly photos of each animal was the most memorable for me. Everything was on time and all activities on the itinerary were enjoyed as promised. I cant wait for my next trip in December
