This 12 day eclusive Kenya Bush Safari Highlights displays Kenya's safari hot spots of Tsavo West National Park, Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, and Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara is known for its great migration and exceptional population of leopards, lions, cheetahs, Thompson gazelles, and other animals. Lake Nakuru National Park is a bird sanctuary. Amboseli is known for its elephants and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Tsavo West is famous for its rumored man-eating lions.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Arrival Nairobi

You will be met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by one of our representative and a driver from the hotel and have a short transfer to the hotel where you will spend your day at leisure preparing for your Safari. Overnight at Pride Inn Azure Nairobi Hotel

Day 2: Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park - Home  of red elephants & man eating lions!

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Join your driver guide and head to Tsavo West National Park. Arrival at the lodge will be in time for lunch. later join your guide for an afternoon game drive returning to your lodge before dusk. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge

Day 3: Full Day Tsavo West National Park Exploration

With an early breakfast, you will have a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch and a visit to Mzima springs and Shetani Lava. One noteworthy place you will visit today is Roaring Rocks, which gets its name from the sound of the lions roaring when they are in the area. The views over Tsavo from the top of the 98m rock face are beautiful. You can expect similar views from Poacher's Lookout, a hill in the center of the park. You can also visit (and climb) the Chaimu Crater Viewpoint, a volcano less than 200 years old and composed of black coke. This area is an excellent place to look out for klipspringer, a small antelope that is as agile as its Swahili name refers to mbuzi mawe or mountain goat. In the southwest corner of Tsavo West National Park is Lake Jipe, which has the Kenyan-Tanzanian border running through it. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge. All meals and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge

Day 4: Transfer from Tsavo West - Amboseli National Park

Breakfast at the lodge and check out. Join your driver guide and head South to the home of the tallest mountain in Africa which is also hosts the most Elephants in and out of East Africa, Amboseli National park. You will be expected to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check in. After lunch you will have the early afternoon by yourself on leisure before joining your driver guide for the Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Day 5: Full Day Amboseli National Park - Home of Large Turskers

The park takes its name from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”. Wildlife abounds with elephants being the dominant species. The park also offers the best views for photography and also gives an opportunity to focus on extra activities like tree planting and Maasai Village visits.

This day will be spent in the park with a full day game drive and any other optional activity as suggested by your driver guide. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge

Day 6: Transfer from Amboseli - Lake Naivasha - Lazy Evening

Early breakfast at the lodge and check out. Drive to Lake Naivasha. You will be expected to arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure and relaxation or engage in optional activities by the lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

Day 7: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru National Park Exploration - Home of Black & White Rhinos

Early breakfast at the lodge and check out. Drive to the nearby Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in the early afternoon and have a game drive enroute to the lodge.

The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and approximately 450 species of birds. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the White and Black Rhinos, Lions and Buffaloes. Lunch at the lodge with an early afternoon at leisure and later enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge

Day 9: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

Breakfast at the lodge and check out. Drive East to the famous Maasai Mara. Today, you will go on an early afternoon game drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. This reserve is one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed in the numbers that were once common across all the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and predators. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 9 & 10: Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Home of the Lion King

Spend two more days in Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara is home to the big five and a host of other game.

Masai Mara is one of Kenya’s most visited and richest game reserve with a huge density of wildlife including the big five. It is also famous for the great wildebeest migration that occurs annually. The great migration involves the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle instinct led movement from the Serengeti in Tanzania around July to the Masai Mara in Kenya and then departing around November. This journey is coupled by numerous obstacles which makes it even more magnificent. Enjoy a game drive en-route to the lodge and arrive in time to freshen up before dinner. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 11: Maasai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi

Check out after breakfast. Exit the back drive back to Nairobi. half day city tour before drop off at your city hotel. Lunch and dinner this day are on own account. Overnight at PrideInn Azure

Day 12: Depart at Leisure

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
