This 9-day African game and walking Safari is developed around the Africa’s finest volcanic Mountains and savannah wildlife. We shall visit The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Rwanda and Tanzania. The major highlights are the Mount Nyiragongo 3,462 meters (11,358 ft) and Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai 2878 meters, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania respectively. Wildebeest migration and Ngorongoro crater rim also offer a great African encounter and everlasting safari memories.

Safari Itinerary
Day 1: - Pick You Up at Kigali International Airport - Possible visit to the Kigali genocide memorial site
Arrival Kigali International Airport and transfer to your accommodation, depending on time of arrival possible visit to the Kigali genocide memorial where the apocalypse between the Tusi and Hutu took place. Overnight: at Fatima Hotel. Dinner and Breakfast inclusive.
Day 2: - Transfer from Ruhengeri and Cross to DRC – Hike Mount Nyiragongo (3470m)?
Depart Ruhengeri early morning to cross the DRC border, clearing with customs to then proceed directly to Kibati Patrol post the start post for the Nyiragongo volcano climb. Its approximately 30minutes drive from Goma to Kibati. Today is the real adventure when you spend a day hiking the live volcano Nyiragongo. The 4-5 hour hike through lush rainforest takes you to the spot where the volcano erupted in 2002.
Overnight at Cabanas at the top of the volcano – All meals inclussive
Day 3: - Descend Mount Nyiragongo – Transfer to Kigali – Regional Flight to Arusha / Kilimanjaro
After breakfast start the descent of Mt. Nyiragongo to arrive at the head of the trail and meet your vehicle to proceed across the border to Rwanda. Meet up with your guide and transfer to Kigali city. If the genocide memorial was missed on the first day, then we can do it before proceeding to our regional flight to Kilimanjaro. Overnight at Arusha Tourist Inn
Day 4: - Transfer from Arusha – Lake Natron – Kamakia campsite – Hike Ol Doinyo Lengai Mountain (The Sacred Mountaion of God in Masai Language) 2878 M
Pick up from Arusha Tourist inn at 8.00am drive to Lake Natron, have lunch at Kamakia campsite Lake Natron. After lunch relax at the campsite as we wait to hike Ol Doinyo Lengai mountain (The mountain of God)
Wake up at midnight hours, have a cup of coffee, pick your picnic lunch boxes, get to the car and drive to the starting point of climbing Mt Ol Doinyo Lengai- MAASAI MOUNTAIN OF GOD. Maasai guides will guide you to Climb the Mountain of God, arrive to the summit 2878 mt and 5.30am enjoy the sunset and the beautifully views of the Serengeti plains, Maasai plains, Mt.Kilimanjaro and Mt. Longido and enjoy the volcanic eruption, then walk 2 hours down to your car and drive to the Kamakia campsite
Day 5. Relaxation Mid-day after the hike – Evening nature walk to Lake Natron and Munge thundering waterfalls.
Today is a lazy day since everyone will be tired after the Ol Doinyo hike. We shall take it easy until the lunch time. In the afternoon, we proceed to lake Natron to view the flock of Flamingos and other species of water birds, then visit the Munge thundering waterfalls before retiring the day at Kamakia campsite.
Day 6 – Transfer from Lake Natron to Serengeti
After breakfast have a game drive en-route with picnic lunch to Serengeti National Park, crossing over Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The vast Serengeti plains are home to a huge variety of animals and bird’s species. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite
Day 7: Full day Serengeti National Park
Early morning at 5.30am have a cup of coffee, and then proceed for sunrise game viewing till 8.00am come back for full breakfast.
After breakfast, have a full day game viewing in vast Serengeti Plains, home to a huge variety of animals and birds, Search among the trees and kopjes for the elusive Leopards and cheetah as well as Wildebeest Migration. After Sunset game drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight Seronera campsite
Day 8: Extra day in Serengeti National Park – Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation area
After breakfast proceed for a Game viewing en-route with picnic lunches and visit to the small but very interesting Dr. Leakey Historical Museum at Olduvai Gorge. Ascend from the plains to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge
Day 9 – Ngorongoro Crater and Transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.
After early breakfast descends to the Crater floor for game viewing with picnic lunches in Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro is one of the true wonders of nature and home of Rhinos, Elephants, Lions and many other species. Proceed direct to the airport for the international flight.
