With breakfast at leisure, start the day with a tour of Kigali City and learn about the Land of Athousand Hills. Key include, Kigali genocide museum, local markets. Have lunch in Kigali and later embark on a journey to Akagera National Park, arriving at the lodge in the evning.

Have breakfast and then go for a game drive where you may spot various wildlife including the members of the Big 5. In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema. While on the boat cruise, you might spot various water animals like the hippos and crocodiles.

After Breakfast on the fourth day this Ultimate Rwanda Safari Experience, you’ll head to southern Rwanda to visit Nyungwe Forest, the chimpanzee’s home. Journey to Nyungwe Forest is stunning beautiful, through terraced hillsides. Along the way we will stop to visit the Nyanza Kings palace and the Rwanda National Museum, before we enjoy lunch in Butare. Continue the drive this afternoon through the dramatic landscape of the Nyungwe Forest, arriving at our lodge located just outside the park overlooking the tea plantations and Nyungwe Forest.

With an early breakfast we start the drive to Nyungwe forest headquarters for briefing and later start our Chimpnzee Trekking experience. The forest is rich in botanical diversity and home to 13 species of primates including Chimpanzees, L’Hoest monkeys, and Columbus monkeys with 300 bird species. You will take a hot lunch at the hotel Have a relaxed stay before heading for a canopy walk to have an eagle view of Nyungwe forest.

Six days in Rwanda today, you have a variety of optional hikes and excursions to choose from, you can choose to go for an escorted walk in search of the large groups of Colobus monkeys and birds including the Ruwenzori turaco. Perhaps also take a guided walk to the waterfall, and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the forest. Transfer to lake Kivu for  a boat cruise to Napoleon Island. The island is home to a large colony of bats which a short climb brings you face-to-face with. There are also giant African millipedes, eagles and a wide variety of water birds. Occasionally you may even spot an Inzocor - a water snake.

Start the day at Lesiure with a alazy breakfast overlooking the stunning Lake Kivu and the sorrounding areas before starting the journey to northern province of Rwanda up to the Virunga Volcanoes to Volcanoes National Park - home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Immerse yourself with the Rwanda community & Culture when you visit the Gorilla Guardian at Ibil'wacu community village.

Today after your warm early morning breakfast, you will be picked by our safari driver guide who will transfer for a golden monkey trekking in search for these primates in the jungle. Just like the gorilla trekking experience, the same applies to golden monkey trekking though no so hectic like gorilla trekking. In the evening, Visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus and learn more about the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund initiative.

After an early morning breakfast. After a short briefing about dos and don’ts about gorilla trekking at the park headquarter, you will enter forest in search of the gorillas. The trekking may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas in the jungle and your group speed as well. Meet and stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour. After then, return to your lodge for lunch, and and spend the day at leisure.

As we come to an end of the impressive 10 Day Ultimate Rwanda Safari Experience, today we explore the northern province of Rwanda. Lets tour the twin lakes of Burere and Ruhondo. Have lunch and later in the evening be transfered to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
