After breakfast, we start the 9 Days epic Uganda Family Trip with a transfer towards the crater lakes area by Fort Portal - Tourism city. Its a scenic drive via the colonial tea estates with a punctuation of stopovers to strecth the legs in the typical African village setup in the far countryside. Have a hot traditional lunch buffet before heading to visit the Great riftvalley escarpment. Get ready for amazing views of the riftvalley and the Rwenzori Mountain Ranges. We continue to check in at our cozy home away from cozy designed to maximize your stay.

With an early breakfast, head into the rain forest of the Primate City of Kibale in the morning for chimpanzee trekking. This is a three-hour experience. As an option you can upgrade to participating in Chimpanzee habituation, where you get to follow the chimps for the whole day, a truly exclusive experience (this is an optional activity that is not included in the stated price. Inform us when booking if you wish to do the habituation). Kibale Forest national park is a rainy forest and a home to over 1500 Chimpanzees. Here you have the chance to see the chimps close up and capture shots of our closet cousins in the jungle in their frenzy exciting moods as they are grooming, building relationships, bringing up young ones, think and sharing food, plus rare bird species following them. In the forest 9 different species of Monkeys are found so you have chances of seeing red colobus, red tailed monkey and bush babies on a great day. After the trek your guide picks you and takes you back to the lodge. Relax for lunch and in the afternoon before having a community immersion in the famous Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a guided nature walk.

Start the day with Crater lakes exploration with a guided walk to Nkuruba crater lake. Look out for different species of Monkeys, such as red colobus, red tailed monkey and bush babies. More in the forest canopy colored aviation creatures-butterflies various bird species like the native Great blue Turaco, joyful greenbul, olive long tailed cuckoo, the superb black bee eater before visiting the top of the world with amazing views of the neighboruing communities, lakes and mountains. We then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, check in a the lodge and get ready for hot lunch. In the evening, we head for an extraordinary game drive in search for the members of the big 5 and other wildlife species. Retire the day at the lodge overlooking the park.

Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning with an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals. Possibility to see Big 5 members Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs- Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits as we drive along. This 9 Day Uganda family trip will also introduce to you to the avian life of Uganda as we cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel that links lake Edward and George. Look out for the hippos, elephants, buffaloes without forgetting the Nile crocodile and many water birds like the pied kingfisher, fish eagle among others. Head and check in at your lodge and retire the day.

Start off the day with an adventourous game drive in Ishasha sector looking out for more savanah wildlife and hopefully with the lions high in the Fig tree branches. This is one of two areas in Africa where lions have the habit of regularly climbing trees to take a rest. Transfer to the impenetrable Forest of Bwindi - A home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Get ready for a community immersion with the Batwa Pygmies.

Head into the impenetrable forest for a close encounter with the Mountain Gorillas. Spend a day tracking the endangered Mountain Gorilla, spending up to an hour among them. See mothers keeping infants close as they knuckle walk on three limbs. Watch scampering toddlers reined in by an attentive father before having a bush packed lunch. This day we spend the night in the middle of Africa’s second deepest Lake on Kyahugye Island on Lake Bunyonyi. Have a relaxed evening as you stare at the fascinating lake of many birds from the veranda of your cosy cottage.

With breakfast at leisure, we cross the lake with a speed boat or motorized canoe to the main land as we wave goodbye to the stunning Lake of many birds. We continue our drive towards Lake Mburo national park. We reach the park in time for lunch at the lodge. (you can decide to have a short swim at the lodge to cool off the body) In the evening, we shall have an exclussive game-drive mixed with walking safari with Zebras, giraffes, Topis, Warthogs, cape buffaloes and Impalas. Retire the day at the lodge.

Start the day early with a visit to the nearby community to enjoy how the local herdsmen & women milk their cows - The Ankole long horned cattle are specifi breed that is endemic to Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia and some parts of Tanzania. After spending an amazing time with the local herdmen, we return to the lodge for a brunch and later head to Entebbe as we have reached the end of amazing 9 Day Epic Uganda Family Trip. We reach Entebbe in the evening and you can arrange for an evening flight or add a night in Entebbe to fly the next day .
