Start the day with an early breakfast before heading to Entebbe international airport to check in for your scheduled domestic flight to the southern sector of Bwindi impenetrabel forest. The flight takes approximately 1 hour & 45 minutes through the scenic Kigezi highlands.
Upon arrival, get ready to start your
3 day flying Gorilla trekking safari with a boat cruise along the historical Lake Mutanda. Check out the different bird species, the virunga mountains on the horizon as well as different historical islands on the Lake. Continue the drive to Rushaga sector of Bwindi where you will spend the night overlooking the impenetrable Forest of Bwindi.
Spend the day tracking the
endangered Mountain Gorilla, spending up to an hour among them. See mothers keeping infants close as they knucklewalk on three limbs. Watch scampering toddlers reined in by an attentive father.
Late in the day, we shall have a community immesersion with the Batwa people who used to stay with the gorillas in the forest before being gazatted as a national park.
