This trip starts from Entebbe with pick up by one of our professional driver guides from your hotel straight to the aiprot ready to check in to your domestic flight to Bwindi.  Upon arrival in Kisoro Airstrip, you will start the day with a visit to the scenic Lake Mutanda to enjoy the breathtaking views of rolling hills or scenic islands and the virunga mountains chain. The safari highlight will be the ultimate enciunter with the gorillas in the misty Bwindi impenetrebale forest. Community immersion and walking safari at Entebbe Botanical gardens is part of the experience.

Safari Highlight for the 3 Day Flying Gorilla Trekking Safari

Start the day with an early breakfast before heading to Entebbe international airport to check in for your scheduled domestic flight to the southern sector of Bwindi impenetrabel forest. The flight takes approximately 1 hour & 45 minutes through the scenic Kigezi highlands. Upon arrival, get ready to start your 3 day flying Gorilla trekking safari with a boat cruise along the historical Lake Mutanda. Check out the different bird species, the virunga mountains on the horizon as well as different historical islands on the Lake. Continue the drive to Rushaga sector of Bwindi where you will spend the night overlooking the impenetrable Forest of Bwindi.

Accomodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge 

Spend the day tracking the endangered Mountain Gorilla, spending up to an hour among them. See mothers keeping infants close as they knucklewalk on three limbs. Watch scampering toddlers reined in by an attentive father. Late in the day, we shall have a community immesersion with the Batwa people who used to stay with the gorillas in the forest before being gazatted as a national park.

Accomodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge 

As we reach the end of this amaizing 3 day flying gorilla trekking safari, we get ready for the domestic flight from Kisoro back to Entebbe. Upon arrival, our company representative will take you for a guided walking safari at the famous Entebbe botanical gardens. Get ready to see different plants, primates and bird spieces. Walk around the shores of Lake Victoria and have lunch. Depending on your departure flight, you guide will take you to the airport.
